Is this a good idea for redecorating my bedroom?

I am 14, so only 4 years until I'm an adult, so I figured go mature with the walls, maybe a border if I must need more pizzazz. I have a bedspread picked out and want orange and pink as my accents. I want to make a candy shaped pillow of each color, and then make a throw for my two chairs. I have two mushroom chairs. I orange and one pink. The orange chair would have pink throw and the opposite. I want gerber daisies as my flower and candles. What else can I do? My curtains are orange tie ups from WALMART.com and at WALMART.com there is a brown blanket with dots one first page for teens bedding. Let me know what your think

Reply:Go to www.blonderwallcovering.com for some great ideas. They have reusable stickers in all of the colors you mentioned and some awesome patterns. They are not expensive - plus you can use them on anything...wood, walls, lamp shades, ceiling fans...wherever you want to put them. Have fun!!
Reply:Your right, you are growing up. You seem to know what you're doing with colors - so I'll just throw in a couple more ideas.





1) Put any remaining toys away - maybe just have one or two precious ones on display.





2) Think of a cool way to display photos of your friends and family (even better if it's something that can easily be transported when you move away from home).





3) Maybe some of those pouched magazine holders that hang from the wall for your mags, books, and mail (you may not get a lot of mail now, but the next couple of years will have college brochures piling in).
Reply:this sounds really cute! i redecorated my room about two years ago, and it is a burgundy-ish color and this deep orange color. it matches my bedspread, which is tye-dye on one side, with these colors, plus two different shades of blue and tan. the other side is flowers, which are the same colors. it fits my personality, so i don't plan on changing it for a while.
