Can you grow morning glories in the house?

I love how morning glories look, and I want to find some kind of flowering plant that would look good in my daughters room. Her room has yellow walls, and the ceiling looks like clouds, so the color scheme is kind of blue and yellow- and we have different color butterflies hanging up. SO- I guess if you CAN'T grow morning glories or don't have any suggestions of HOW you'd do that......Let me know what you would suggest for houseplants. Gonna plant it in a red tin watering can that is sort of retro-

THANKS-

Can you grow morning glories in the house?
please keep in mind this,,,,morning glories are a runner, grow fast, use no more that 4 plants or 1 pack of seeds,,,,personallly i love these i have them everywhere.but in the house you would need a windowsill box, potting soil, push pins to wrap their very small vines around and train them to go where u want them.end results will be beautiful,,,,and they do not attract insects or spiders.these would work in your retro look can but will still need a window,,,they need lots of sun
Reply:Morning glories need plenty of sunlight, so you'll have to put them by a sunny window to supply the light, unless you want to invest in a grow light. You'll have to give them something to climb, as they vine out, like some chicken wire, unless you want to keep trimming them.
Reply:you can but they grow super fast also there is another plant that blooms at night i keep forgetting it's name but its good because then you would have blooms all day long...
Reply:Morning glories are pretty fast growing unlike your average house plant so you'd have to be prepared to train them where you want them. It's kind of difficult to have a flowering plant inside unless you get a LOT of sun. They may grow but the flowers won't open all the way without enough sun. There are some fantastically realistic fake/silk morning glories and other flowers available and that might make more sense esepcially for a childs room.Check this link:
