Paint Color?

I am getting ready to paint my 14 yr. old daughter's room and her new bedspread is background white with black flowers and a little red trim. What color should I paint the walls. I obviously do not want to paint them red or black so do I just leave them white?

Paint Color?
you should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a dark blue like "rainstorm" (# 6230) would be beautiful. if you think it would be too dark to paint the entire room that color, then just paint the one wall behind her bed as a feature wall, and paint the rest white.
Reply:You should pic one wall the accent wall and match the red on the bed spread paint to one wall red and the other can stay white or a creamy colour
Reply:i think sage or bage will be sophisticated. truthfully it sounds like any color she likes will work out great
Reply:What about a pale khaki? It would be neutral but much more lively than white.
Reply:No, I wouldn't leave them white. I think a very soft yellow would look great.
Reply:a few thoughts: Maybe just paint a portion of the room red. You could paint the bottom half of the wall red and leave the top white and install a chair rail to separate the colors. Easier than it sounds and comes out beautiful
