Painting my room?

I want to paint my room. my Dad hates colors on walls because he saw my aunts house with flowers every where. I am a Gamer. I would love to have a black Room but he says "if we ever tryed to sell the house it wouldnt get sold because of that" any sugestions? oh and does any body know that site that you take a picture of somthing and pick a color for the walls and it chages it for you?

Ask your dad if he'd let you do a dark warm gray, like "foothills" by sherwin williams:

Reply:Benjamin Moore has a clor room where you can experiment, Try one colored wall and a light er version on the others, Your Dads right black wont work but if you do a decent jpob with other colors he might approve

How about just doing one wall black and promise your dad that you will prime the wall and repaint it white when the time comes.

Reply:Butterfly lover's website is really good, i wouldn't really suggest any other, well in my opinion..your dad shouldn't base things off how other people do and paint things in their house because they have different styles and doesn't mean your room is going to be with flowers or whatever, black is a good color on the walls but with a style..i hope you are not saying panting the walls black and making everything gothic and rock like..then your dad has a point there but when the time comes to move you can go to the store and pick up a prime paint at the hardware store and show him you can be a responsible adult
