I need a color to bring 2 other colors together in our bedroom?

Our comforter set is a deep garden green on one side and a light colored green on the other. Our dresser sets are greenish blue (light hints of blue in there). I want to paint our walls a color to make these go together. I thought of a light yellow and then getting silk flowers in yellow, garden green and greenish blue for a large vase. We have some deep brown end tables.

What do you think? any other opinions or ideas? Thank you!!

(Getting rid of either isn't an option. We love our bedding and the dresser set is antique.)

I think that an antique white is the best color choice. It is your neutral base that you can build on. You can add color to your walls with pictures that accent the comforter. Later, if you want a change, it can be easily done with new bedding.Too much color can be overpowering. I like the clean and simple. I have over the years realized that I am not happy with bold colors on walls because it limits your ability to change things as your taste and style change.
Reply:I would paint the walls an antique whitish beige, and than bring in other colors with decorating...soft yellows, browns, etc....I think with such rich colors, less is more on the walls. Have you ever doen faux painting? Home Depot sells a kit called wall magic. Its a special roller...it has 2 seperate rolloers on one handle, and the paint tray has 2 seperate compartments. So you put one paint color in one side and a contrasting one in the other, dip the roller and paint the walls in a v sort of motion, making the wall have the appearance that you like. I did it in my dining room with a sage green and a light earthy gold and it came out beautifull, many many complimets and it was so easy. Google it and they willshow you pictures. I think if you did one accent wall with the antique white and soft yellow it would look very pretty with your decor. Plus since you have an antiquy look going on it totally matches the decor.....good luck
Reply:use a warm beige.....it will feel more earthy and still be neutral and not overwhelming. The lighter or darker you want it will be up to you...you don't want yellow..that is too cheery for a bedroom and too bright ...go with soft tones :)

that way, if you want to bring in some flowers, you will have browns and greens in the stems. This will also allow you to bring in beige in pillows, perhaps a sofa or chair and all kindsd of things to make it all work together
Reply:your greens are a combo of two primary colors...blue and yellow............................yellow wall...yes, a medium yellow...use some clear red in your flowers with the others you mentioned....perhaps a red and yellow vase...perhaps some red and yellow throws on part of your brown tables...just enought to say,,"look at me::...small print
Reply:Green and blue-green are natural leave colors for flowers. You can go with any color a flower is that you like :) Guess you are unlimited!
Reply:I would paint the walls blue and stick with three colors: blue, green and white accents. That is a soothing, relaxing color combo for a bedroom.
