Preppy teen room ideas?

I might be getting my room re-done in the winter, it is a fairly big room and I am planning on getting a wooden floor (it goes with everyone, and its amazingg to practice dance on!) and white furniture.





Help! I'm counting on my beauty/style chicas %26lt;3


I was thinking a light green (not neon) for the walls, and then little green things hee and there....and I'll somehow find faux flowers that match the room. Gorg? Any other ideas? I want it to be something that my friends will go home and be like "Dam, now THATS the coolest room ever". Not literatly, but you gety the point! Maybe even a fire-engine red room? I need a stylish, preppy teen room, that will be AMAZING.





I do NOT want different colored walls. Also, no black walls!!!

Preppy teen room ideas?
Um... I would go with the classic girly theme. Too beachy is so cliche but I think you should incorporate those colors into it like that really pretty sunsetty orange and all the other colors of the sunset. WOod floors or the fake wood venyl could be lide sand and I would do a different color on every wall but do accents all over the room so they blend well. Just make sure they do not hurt your eyes. You should do really elaborate bedding(because that is how a princess must sleep) and a super funky lamp. Do really subtle but interesting accent pieces that match your fave things like some shells, hollister or abercrombie bags, or really cool pics of like people on stage. Maybe you could dedicate like one wall for frinds and get a bunch of funky frames and put em all over.
Reply:OMG this is like my room!! okay i have a light green wall and little light green stuff everywhere, and my other colors are light blue and light pink, then like some hot pink to make it POP and not look aby-ish with the colors and i like like all the same things as you!! i have different colored walls, they look fine, but if you dont like it then, just have the stuff in your room with the other colors!! have fun!!
Reply:You can probably get like, Green wals with white flowers. And a color bed that will stand out like pink and white bed. That would look really cute, especially for teens.
Reply:done. My room theme is the bomb, but you can do it in green or red, it goes with any. My current theme is a red and white Japanese theme. White furniture with red walls and white (stenciled) characters; hope peace and stuff, with a red comforter and red rug (on wooden floor of course) it looks cool and really gives me a calm, focused edge i need to get things done
