How can i improve my room?

my room is quite boring.


i want to make it cooler. but i'd rather not buy new stuff.


id rather work with the things id already have. mabye some DIY stuff also.


also, im 15, i have lightish/medium pastel green walls, light floral bedspreads, and purple curtains, beige funiture w/flowers, lots of small toys, something i painted that sticks on mirrors and stuff, my name on painted clay, and these things hanging in the middle of the curtains:

what can i do to make my room more glam/funky/edgy %26amp; hip?


its so childish and boring right now.

How can i improve my room?
get a box of dye and dye the fabric black. You will still have a pattern but it will be gray with a black background.


Box up the toys and donate them.


Walk around your house for anything that is the same color like turquois lamps, vases or frames, or yellow or pink items to place around your room.


Put the beads over the bed on a piece of pipe or round shower curtain and let hang.
Reply:add hip shelving, change the bedding





add something bold on the floor





get creative and create 1 or 2 conversation pieces for the room





if you want, change (darken) just 1 of the walls to a hip color
