Does this happen to anyone else? And if so how come?

This has been happening to be ever since I can remember, where sometimes I can see patterns, and drawings in objects such as walls, tiles, floors and so on. In fact, jsut recntly I was looking at someone's display picture on messenger and thought the flower was moving when it actually wasn't, and no one else saw it. I can also pic up on some optical illusions extremely easily. So tell me,does anyone else experience this? ANd if so, what is it caused by?

It has happen to me since I was a child, looking at the popcorn textured ceiling. I'd see faces, animals, etc. mostly scary stuff that enhanced my insomnia. I always figured it was just my active imagination. Never thought it was anything to worry about.


Now that I'm in my thirties, it bothers me the most when it happens when I drive at night and a bush will look like a person crouching, I try to refocus and not dwell on the stuff I see.


Hopefully it all just a trick of tired eyes. I just wanted you to know it happens to someone else and I question my sanity often enough not to actually be insane.

Reply:Yes, and I'm psychotic. I thought a shadow of a lamp was the Angel of Death. But these things can also be exacerbated by lack of protein--I've found it helps to have a shake once in a while...





Another thing it can be is delirium. Are you sleeping OK?
Reply:i have had that happen to me before but not a lot..it's like when i look at an object too long without blinking...peoples mind can just play tricks sometimes!
