OK well I am the kind of guy that goes all out for Valentines day. I do not do traditional Valentines day I like uber cute Valentines day ideas that are off the wall and take some time and consideration. Buying things is one thing but I would rather do something on my own. Money is no option and i am not looking for the typical dinner, movies and flowers thing... So if you have any wacky crazy ideas let me know.. any comments are appreciated. Thanks

Balloon Surprise
This one will require handwritten notes to your Valentine. Phrases like "I love you", "Thanks for being you", or "You mean more to me than anything" are good as well as sayings that have special meaning only to the two of you. You can write short memories of fun things you did together, a memorable vacation or a special moment you shared, like the birth of a child. Once you get the notes written, cut them into small sections. Make sure each note is small enough to be folded and placed in a balloon. You can purchase a small helium tank and balloons at most party stores. Take a balloon, insert a note into it, and then blow it up. When your Valentine comes home, have her pop each balloon to read your message of love.

Reply:How about a funny scavenger hunt? I was thinking maybe clues where you think it will be a traditional gift but really it will be something unexpected. I love the word play.
One example a clue that says "there's a dozen of them and they are red!!... and when she finds the gift it is a dozen rasberry filled jelly donuts! Once she gets the first one or two it will be interesting to see where her mind will go trying to guess the wacky gift! I think that's super fun!
