What colors to paint my room?

OK, so I have an average room -- its pretty big, I have a large window space of 3 window(that are large) across one wall. I also have tan wooden furniture and a day bed that is a cream color and the furniture has like pink blue green orange/peach flowers...what are some good colors (and dont say whatever color you like -- cuz i like ALL colors =))

What colors to paint my room?
Pick something that you want to accent in the room, make stand out. Then decide what is your favorite color out of what you have chosen. You can either take it to a paint store and have the exact color matched or look for a paint chip with a similar match and pick one of those colors. They usually have 3 or 4 colors that work well together. You could even even use two colors. A lighter color on the wall and trim the baseboards and crown molding in a darker color or vise versa. Good luck...
Reply:seriously, wallpaper is SO much better.

Reply:I think I would go with a creamy peach color on the walls, staying with a fairly neutral wall color and using the accents for interest. If you could find some material that matches the colors on your spread, you could make valances for the windows to tie the color scheme all together.
Reply:You know white bring out alot of your colors and then get a rug to go with the day bed colors, you can even paint it off-white.Your curtains should be sheer that match the colors in the day bed.
Reply:I dont know if this helps but i had the same delema with my room so i painted each wall a different color. Everyone that comes over loves it and i get to enjoy all my favorite colors. For u i would put a brighter color like orange if it is sunny and a yellow color if it isn't. Maybe u can paint the wall behind ur bed a different color then the rest of the room. Be creative and try to visualize it. Also remember that warm colors like orange red and yellow have more energy while cool colors like blue green and purple are calming. try to decide what feel u want 4 ur room. Also looking at rooms on websites or in catalogs helped me a lot. See what everyone else is doing and what u like.
Reply:If I was able to color my room, I'd either go for a light lime or a aqua blue color that's easy on the eyes.
Reply:what ever color you like
Reply:What about painting three walls a pale sage green, and the last one a dark forest green, and trim it all in a really nice cream crackle, with the dark green under the crackle around the windows?
