Do you like this Sonnet?

I wrote it for my grand daughter on her third birthday.

The sun rises an orb of fire,

In each nature, an angel climbs.

Her heart of truth is pure,

Flowers wave their velvet petals

Crimson heavens set the eve,

Orange cotten candy upon a wall of blue

Warmth of all creation becomes anew

A gentle wind caresses us me and you

A golden sliver grows white,

Darkness voids to deep ebon.

Shades vanish, night has fallen

To wit the babe's eyes grow dim

Sleep precious child, dream,

Let peace dwell in your heaven.
